Just a quick quote...
because I finished "Post Office" quicker than I expected.
"Well, as the boys said. You had to work somewhere. So the accepted what there was. This was the wisdom of the Slave."
Read it. Oh, and the other book, by Faulkner, it was surprisingly abstract in ways I can't explain. Make sure you read that too. If you like. No pressure.

I will be sure to read both. Much like you (much like you awhile ago, i should say), I have yet to read either great author.
But I have listened to that song by Modest Mouse - y'know.. Bukowski (I know I misspelled it - and probably just mispelled "mispelled" - at least once. possibly twice).
But I digress.
I'll check out both books, as soon as I'm done with this stack of books in front of me. (BTW - if you haven't yet, check out Lullaby by Chucky Palahniuk and A Happy Death by Albert Camus - the first for its great story, the latter for its excellent title.)
